Transmit torque and motion: As an input or output end, transmit torque and rotational motion to the planet gear shafts (and then to the planet gears), or receive torque and motion from the planet gear shafts.
Withstand complex loads: During operation, bear the meshing forces from the planet gears (radial force, tangential force), centrifugal force, and bending and torsional stresses generated by transmitted torque.
Ensure load sharing: The rigidity and manufacturing accuracy of its structure directly affect the **uniform load distribution** among multiple planet gears, which is crucial for the transmission system's load capacity, smoothness, and service life.
